Join us for this workshop at Utepils as part of our fall brewery series!

Work with a professionally thrown, leather-hard clay cylinder to create a luminous lantern that casts warm, flickering patterns throughout your home in any season. The carefully prepared clay is a pleasure to carve, offering an expressive surface that is rarely available to casual ceramic artists. Your finished luminary will stand approximately 5 inches tall.

Beginner friendly, no previous experience needed!

ROGUE OPTIONS:

This form could be converted into an open-air garlic jar. Left without holes, the form could be a short vase, a utensil holder, or turned upside down to form the shell of a bell.

FIRING AND PICK UP:

Once you are complete, choose your glaze option and we will bring it back to Dame Errant to fire. After a few weeks, come to Dame Errant to pick up your piece! Firing updates go out in our newsletter, and you will get automated emails that will remind you to check if your piece is done, and a week before the 8 week cut off.

AGE:

This workshop is suitable for ages 16 to 100, minors must be accompanied by a participating adult.

Registration and Attendance Policy:

To ensure a quality experience for all registered participants, our workshops are designed for those who have signed up in advance. Please note that extra guests are not permitted to attend or observe the workshop unless they have registered themselves. This includes children—our workshops cannot accommodate unregistered minors. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain the integrity and focus of our sessions.
